I Wonder If He Had Rumsfeld In Mind...

'If you don't like change, you're going to like irrelevance even less.'
--Army Chief of Staff General Eric Shinsecki, whose prophetic statement to the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee in February 2003, shortly before commencement of the Iraq war--that it would take "hundreds of thousands" of American troops to stabilize post-invasion Iraq--was ridiculed and dismissed by the then Pentagon chief. We wish Rummy well in his coming irrelevant post-retirement.

I like that nickname Rumskull. But of course the rolling disasters these idiots have touched off all around the world with their ugly Americanism, the way they've turned just about the entire world against us with their arrogance, leaves one in awe. It also leaves me sometimes feeling, when I see someone with a Bush campaign sign still attached to their car, to confront them and ask them if they're happy now. But I manage to squelch the urge out of native politeness.
